The hometown of organic tea in China - Welcome to Xiu Ning!

Xiu Ning County is on the southern of Anhui Province, with many famous and beautiful hills and water, it also has an excellent environment, and is “the first exporting county of green tea in China.” In recent years, the County Party Committee and the government of Xiu Ning worked out a strategy of sustainable development which is to “lift green brand, and walk green road”, opening out the organic tea energetically. The county has been ranked as “state organic tea standardization demonstration plot”, “demonstration base of nuisance free tea producing county” and national “Spark Program” successively. At present, the area of organic tea gardens with the issued certificates is more than 10 thousand Mu, taking the first place in our country, which is worthy of the name “the hometown of organic tea in China”, and has registered “the hometown of organic tea in China” website by China Internet Information Center.

Xiu Ning County is the main producing area of Tun Xi Green Tea, and has more than 1,200 years history of making tea, producing many traditional famous tea, such as “Lang Yuan Song Luo”, “Bai Yue Huang Ya” and “Jing Long Que She” etc, and opening out some good tea in recent years, such as “Xin An Yuan Yin Hao”, “Qi Yun Mao Feng”, “Xia Yu” and “Ming Zhou Tea”, etc. The Eyebrow Tea exports 1,500 tons every year, occupying 20% share of the national Eyebrow Tea exportation, which is the head of the nation.
